A gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire who becomes infatuated with her, causing unspeakable terror. Willem Dafoe, who plays Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz, previously played the fictional vampire Max Schreck in Vampirova siena (2000), which is a quasi-remake and fictional look behind the scenes of Nosferatu, simfonija strave (1922)..
